Salty Surf School provides high standard surf coaching on the shores of the Mornington Peninsula at Point Leo and Shoreham.
Owner Fraser Ross has surfed the local area his entire life and has coached for the past ten years, offering an intimate knowledge of tides, breaks and teaching techniques so that each class is suited to your individual goals.
Whether you're a first time surfer or wanting to refine your skills we have classes to suit a variety of ages and ability levels. We keep the groups small and we time classes to suit the surf conditions so you always have a great time.
Types of lessons:
Public Group (open to the public)
Private Group (a private group of friends)

Intermediate & Advanced Coaching
General Class Content (varies according to ability level):
- Standing up on a wave
- Catching waves
- Turning/Manouvering skills
- Beach safety
- Ocean awareness
- Surf etiquette
- Knowledge of the local area including breaks, tides etc.
